On October 26th the EAT Cafe, Philadelphia's first pay-what-you-can restaurant, opened it's doors to the public.  The Cafe will be open on Wednesday - Saturday from 4:30 - 8:00.  With a suggested price of $15 for a three course meal, guests will be able to pay the suggested price, more, less, or nothing at all.

Mariana Chilton provided feedback to the House Agriculture Committee on their two year long series of hearings on the past, present, and future of SNAP.  Mariana was invited to provide feedback as she testified at one of the hearing to discuss the findings of the National Commission on Hunger.

Imani Sullivan, a member of Witnesses to Hunger, was interviewed by WHYY for a series leading up to the election where they will examine how policies could affect the more than 800,000 people in the Philadelphia region living from paycheck-to-paycheck — if they get one at all.
